Tried to call. Waited half hr. Had an appt. to go to. Can't get in touch with anyone regarding my nursing license. I jumped through hoops to upload a document for proof of my 30 ceu's. Still getting discrepancy emails stating I don't have everything in. So frustrated! Is this how you communicate with nurses who are so direly needed?

For several decades, the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs has supported licensing boards for dozens of occupations. For several years, I have applied for my nursing licenses through this board, and I have never experienced any problems. Most recently, in late August 2022, this bureau emailed me to remind me to renew my license for nursing. I thought that their website was quick and easy to use. In only one day, the bureau emailed me to inform me that my license was renewed. About 1.5 weeks later, the post office delivered a hard copy of my license to me. I expect that this board more quickly processes license renewals when the applications are submitted many weeks before the deadline.

Extremely horrible service. 9 callers ahead of me and it took 2 hours on hold then suddenly automated voice telling me that they are closed! People in charge of this office, please improve your services. You work with Professional people, better act as one. Such a shame where taxes of people of Pennsylvania go. You don't even deserve one star for it.

I took a trip here today. Arrived about 10:00 AM. I was greeted by an officer as soon as I entered. He asked me if he could help me, I told him what I needed and he directed me to a gentleman behind a desk named "David" who was also very kind and accommodating. He took my information, ask me to have a seat, someone would be with me soon. 5 mins later an absolutely wonderful woman named "Linda" came down and informed me that I missing one of the necessary documents required for my license. I went into my folder, gave it to her, she left, returned 10 mins later with a huge smile on her face and a document with my license number in her hand. She told me my hard copy would arrive via mail in approximately 2 weeks. I thanked Linda, David and the Officer on duty, and was on my way. The entire exchange took 20 mins tops. I can only speak for myself, but I would have to say I had a wonderful experience here.

I am trying to renew my nursing license and also provide a change of address. Your site will not allow me to change my address. I completed the survey and 2/3 of the renewal application. When I got to the portion where you provide additional names to send information,it locked me out! Do you shut the website down at 5pm? I am frustrated with this site. I have logged back in numerous times without success! Please fix!

I'm not giving any stars because these people don't deserve even 1 star and I had to give them one star or I couldn't leave my comment. I've been calling for 3 weeks to get a permit left messages and no one has returned my calls. They won't return calls but when it comes time to pay for a permit they have no problem billing a business to the highest heavens and when they send an inspector out they charge you again. They know how to rob a business without a gun.

I'm not great at remembering names. I was having an issue logging in to renew my Dealers License. I had looked at the reviews and got sick to my stomach because most of them were not good. Well, I had no problem. The lady reset my password and stayed on the phone with me until I successfully logged in. I was totally grateful I got her. She has great people skills and she is knowledgeable on her stuff. Thank you so much for your help

I have really no words to describe my experience. I have send in my Speech Language Pathologist License Renewal Application over five months ago. Together with money, obviously. You can not call the Board. They do not pick up the phone “due to Covid concerns!!” How does this make sense, you can’t get the virus over the phone! Every other state every other board picks up the phone. They do not. I tried multiple times to leave a message, the system does not work and does not allow you to actually leave a message. The one person who’s email is listed, is incredibly unprofessional and rude. After not being helpful at all, and taking more then a day to answer, she stopped answering my emails. I have copies of all the information i send to them, as well as what was sent to them by others professional entities. My file states it does not have that information. Any attempt to get the information from PA board resulted in nothing.
