Adopting a dog was a fairly big decision for our family. I’ve responsibly owned a cat(s) since I was a child, which was also the last time I had a dog. And the first for my 3 kids. Until Lydia came along. We literally searched rescues everywhere. We found Crossing Paths, Joyce and our future family member in June, 2023 via Petfinder. The entire process was easy and amazing. And I can say that after many, other not so great interactions. Joyce and co. made our experience one that was memorable and exciting. It just felt right. From the interview process to the pickup and the advice afterwards. Lydia is just another one of us now. We just celebrated her first birthday in February. We have Joyce and Crossing Paths to thank for that. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!!

From filling out the paperwork to bringing the newest member of our family home, Ruth from Crossing Paths Animal rescue was amazing. She was always very informative, knowledgeable and it was amazing to be able to meet her in person to know the face and the person behind the voice that I spoke with on the phone before I was able to bring Callus home. He instantly fell in love with my daughter as well as my other dogs as well. I can't thank this rescue enough for such a smooth transition and also for all the love and care that they have for the dogs!

We adopted Willow(formerly Delores) back in 2022. Everyone was very informative, communicative and loving. We are absolutely grateful to everyone at crossing paths for helping bring her into our lives and just submitted an application for another pup! Thank you for all you do♥️

We adopted our 5 month old puppy Charlie through Crossing Paths Animal Rescue in Nov. 2023. Not only was Charlie up to date on all of his shots he was completely healthy when we had him checked out at our vet. Ruth and Teresa do an amazing job! They were so helpful and friendly and they made the process so easy. I highly recommend their organization!

I am so thankful that I have crossed paths with "Crossing Paths Animal Rescue." LOL The Crossing Paths team is exceptional at what they do! They always have the dog's best interest in mind! Sheila, who was both my puppies foster momma has been amazing throughout the entire process, from giving detailed descriptions of their traits and personalities, to giving them top notch care! I started off with one puppy, who was very playful with my other, almost elder, dog. And three weeks later, I got another!! Also, an amazing shout out to Heather and Ashlee for transporting my babies to me safe and sound!!! 10/10!!!

We adopted little miss Jessa in March of 2022! We are very thankful this organization helped us find our little lady. We are first time dog owners and didn’t want to rush into anything without information. Ruth from Crossing Paths provided us with personalized assistance in deciding which puppy would fit us best and provided us photos/personality summaries along with answering any questions we had! As a volunteer at the MegaAdoption event in PA, I was involved in helping many of the shelters that were there. Not to say the other shelters weren’t great, but Crossing Paths was one I noticed paid extra attention and took extra care with their animals. They made sure every dog had a clean crate, food and water, and all got to go outside and take a walk on a regular basis. While helping out at the event, one particular dog, named Eugene from Crossing Paths, bonded with me and I couldn’t leave without him. He has been a great addition to our family! Crossing Paths has been great about answering any of our questions (sometimes responding almost immediately!) and have been there to follow up with our adoption of Eugene.
I wish them the best as they continue to find homes for our four-legged friends!

It’s been a year since we’ve adopted Gracie(formerly Lexus) from Crossing Paths. She is a GEM! We love her so much! We had only met her from video since we live in Falls Church, Va. Joyce & Ashley were so helpful and kind with all my questions and many phone calls.They connected me with the transport team and Gracie arrived to us safely on July 3rd. We are so happy to have her as part of our family & Boomer luvs having a companion & a little sister.❤️
