This is an unfortunate event. I had an appointment today, and I was late due to heavy traffic. When I tried calling the phone number provided on Google and the confirmation call, I kept getting the office is closed. When arriving at the clinic, I was not greeted by the front staff. When I approached them and told them I had an appointment at 7:40 I was told there was a 5 minute policy. When I told them I understand and I was trying to call to let them know the situation the front staff was not having it. When I told them I called the number several times I was than asked which number and I was told that was incorrect and that the clinic had its own number that one wasn’t on the Google site and two wasn’t stated anywhere when I received my confirmation call. I work in healthcare and not once have we ever turned a patient away from care. I have never been so rudely treated. I was told I could reschedule but wouldn’t get an appointment date til about a month later when I had scheduled this appointment three weeks ago. I left the clinic stating that I’m better off finding someone else. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t personally get seen by the physician assistant. Honestly first impression is everything especially in healthcare and with such a rude staff I will be looking elsewhere for care.
