My friend and our daughters did a private
cookery class with Emilia during our stay in
Scicli. We loved every minute and had the
best time learning how to make pasta! Emilia
is very personable, informative and patient
when teaching. Emilia is very knowledgeable
about Sicily and Scicli in particular and
provides lots of information about the area, culture and other things to do. She was very
helpful with restaurant recommendations
and helping us get reservations. After our
class, she served us a delicious Sicilian
dinner (with our fresh pasta). The
appetizers, sauce for pasta and dessert was
so amazing and it was our favorite meal on our trip. We are looking forward to trying our new pasta making skills at home. We highly
recommend Emilia and hope you are able to
attend her cookery class or another event
while in Sicily. We can't wait to go back!

We attended the Pistachio Cake masterclass online in December. It was amazing and we made the most delicious cake and biscotti. Would recommend this to everyone. It was extremely well organised and we covered a lot in the time. Ingredients were posted a few days before the class. This was a great gift idea for my Mum who has been a bit isolated with the lockdown.

We used Strazzanti for our corporate virtual Christmas celebration and they were fantastic from start to finish. They arranged a bespoke 'supper club' food hamper for us to suit our budget, and had them couriered all over the country to each of the team's houses. The food was delicious and they had amazing attention to detail, making our virtual Christmas party really special. Great value for money, delicious food, brilliant service from this family-run business. Highly recommend! I will definitely be using them again! 🙂

My partner and I had a private cooking class with Emilia, and we absolutely loved it. Really informative and enjoyable. Emilia is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Sicilian food and wine, and gave us fantastic suggestions for the rest of our travels. Will absolutely do some sort of foodie experience with her next time we’re in Sicily.

Emilia is a chef, a storyteller and an engaging guide to Sicily and its many enchantments. We spent half a day with her, touring her home town and learning to make pasta, topped with the unique Sicilian pistachio pesto. Emilia is a wonderful cooking teacher, and also a person with a compelling story and keen insights into contemporary Sicily, the Sicilian diaspora and the place of Sicily and Sicilians in present day Europe. We barely scratched the surface of her many food and wine connections on the island. You could structure a few glorious days following her around from wineries to food shops to cheese makers. Highly recommend booking her for tours when you are in Sicily and be sure she shows you around Scicli, her jewel box home town, when you are there.

Having been to several of the Strazzanti supper clubs, I can wholeheartedly recommend the tasty cookery and warm hospitality of the team, and especially Emilia. Seize any chance to join one of their events or order their delicious food. The nut cakes in particular are sensational.

Strazzanti really offer quality Sicilian food from their online deli. By far my favourite is their pistachio pesto which is amazing but in all honesty all their sauces are delish! I got a selection box myself and the pesto trio was given to me as a gift so I have sampled them all 🙂 Also had their pecorino cheese which was so good with a honey drizzle. Bought the at home choc cake kit and their 'il piccolo pachetto' as gifts delivered direct to family and everyone loved them! Perfect gifts with a gift note and we'll packed for delivery. Can't wait til their supper clubs are back to try their cooking fresh. If you are looking for delicious food delivered these guys (ladies actually) are fantastic.

We really enjoyed our day with Emelia on the Scicli food and wine tour with cooking class and lunch. We started with coffee at a lovely shady cafe, strolled through the streets of Scicli and sampled Sicilian delicacies and wine. Then we learned how to make and shape pasta ! which we later enjoyed for lunch . It was a wonderful experience , Emelia is so lovely ! Lots of great information and tips . We highly recommend this experience.
