We had an amazing brunch experience here. Everything we ate was exceptional from the pastries, coffee, and entrees. Our server was extremely helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. I recommend the almond croissant, pancakes, and stockyard skillet.

We held my daughter’s bridal shower at The Morgan Arts Complex and used the on site restaurant Dolce Arte for the food and drink. I have hosted many events over the years and this was by far one of the best! To say the food was amazing is an understatement. Every was absolutely delicious, hot and plentiful. We had over 80 people and never ran out of food. Not only was the food delicious and the presentation beautiful but their staff was friendly and attentive. Dolce Arte Owners Stephane and Brittany were wonderful to work with and could not have been more accommodating. We have received so many compliments on the event. Dolce Arte restaurant is open daily and will not disappoint. Definitely give them a try.

Dolce Arte I have one question, why? I stopped in for a quick bagel, was in the area and I’m familiar with your place. I’ve been there for drinks and breakfast. So I just wanted a bagel, maybe a pastry but I decided with the latter. I didn’t ask how much were the bagels, I’m thinking at least $2 or something around that price point. My total was $4.51! Cream cheese is additional. I was asked if I wanted it toasted, I declined.

Driving home I stopped at my tamale guy in my neighborhood. $2 per tamale, I got two. I paid $5 total, I tipped him. How did I get more value at my tamale guy?

Dunkin Donuts on Pershing and Morgan has bagels at $2.49 and they come with cream cheese! Your bagel wasn’t fresh.

I’m not a rich man nor am I a poor person, I’m blue collar worker. But no person in the Bridgeport area should have to pay $4.51 for a bagel with no cream cheese.

Food: Ordered pastries at the front desk to be brought to our table: the Sourdough Nutella, Raspberry Meringue, and the Lemon Italian Meringue. The Sourdough Nutella was my favorite, however it would have been better if it was warm and fresh. My sister ordered the American Breakfast and I ordered the Short Rib Eggs Benedict. My sister swapped her sausage patties for turkey patties which were surprisingly a well-seasoned turkey blend for a patty. While the potatoes in both of our plates were well seasoned and cooked, they were slightly stale and cold like they had been made in a huge batch and left out. Would be terrific if served fresh, my biggest qualm here. As for the Short Rib Benedict, the Short Rib was extremely tender. The berry spread and butter for the sourdough toast was a great compliment. The sauce on the Benedict was creamy and savory. I would order it again if I wasn't intrigued about trying a different dish. My sister ordered a lavender matcha latte which unfortunately tasted like milk with a hint of matcha. I ordered the Tiramisu latte which was slightly on the bitter end but I didn't mind it.

Service: Overall, prompt service. Our waitress checked on our table plenty enough. Had decent knowledge of the menu when questioned about it. Nothing bad but nothing memorable in particular.

Atmosphere: Extremely cozy atmosphere. Warm lighting. Thoughtful design. Neutral tones of browns and greens. Esthetically pleasing to the eye down to the seating and green intricate glasses.

The food was eh.. my tummy hurts now. Avocado toast wasn't what I had expected and I didn't enjoy it. Tomato soup is pretty good, very sweet savory. Matcha lavender latte was bitter which is great, but I wish I requested to add more milk because it was a bit too strong. Interior is clean and refreshing. Joey was the first to welcome me at the Cafe stand and continued to take care of me throughout service. Although there were two other employees on the floor, Joey was the only one who greeted and checked in on me even though he was busy running around. GIVE JOEY A RAISE ? over all food is mid, made for people with bland taste buds. Atmosphere is nice and I like that you can order breakfast or lunch regardless of the hour you walk in.

A true gem in the heart of Bridgeport!

Top quality in all aspects:

- Food & Drinks
- Atmosphere
- Design
- Service
- Location

It’s inside of an art center so the vibe is something different. The coffees are top notch, pastries super fresh and delicious. Didn’t even have the chance to picture the main dishes so only caught desserts ?
