Had the amazing holiday brunch buffet and really enjoyed my meal here! The braised beef pie was good but maybe get something other than the Mac and cheese (rather dry and lacking in flavor). Buffet items were mostly tasty but savory dishes could be warmer. Overall a great dining experience and would return again!

Had the festive dinner which happened to fall on my birthday. My companions secretly ordered a cake to surprise me. But the biggest surprise came when the restaurant offered the whole cake and truffle fries with their complements! Thank you so much for a memorable night with my favourite cake!

Weekend Brunch - Definitely for those with sweet tooth or chocolate lovers. Guests with savoury palate may not have much to eat - main course menu perhaps can be expanded to cater for non beef folks.

Staff were attentive enough not to ignore us and didn’t keep us waiting. When ordering , staff were helpful too. As for the food , we had 2 steaks 2 noodles . Personal opinion, didn’t like the noodles but managed to finished. The steaks are much better . Prices are reasonably priced.

Reasonably priced buffet at $38++, with that you can also add on a coffee / tea for $3++, which is almost half off the a la carte price. You need to order a main and then there's a small selection of sides, yoghurt and dessert on unlimited servings buffet style. The main portion is small, almost like a half portion, eg the beef pie I had was half a pie. The best part for me was the fresh fruits topped with chocolate on tap, staff was super generous with the chocolate.

The sides are not too wow. The desserts were good but I'm disappointed it didn't include their famous Hei Ice Cream.

Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. But looking at the selection, I don't think I'll return.

Came for their Christmas Brunch Buffet at $52++/pax (kids 3-8 at half price). Had Grilled Steak and Hash for myself and it was well grilled! Kids had Mac and Cheese (it wasn't really mac.. because it was Penne.. but it was still nice albeit slightly on the salty side).

Buffet spread was decent for the price. The place was a little small so there are times where queues get a little longer and stuck.. but just gotta time to go queue for the food when the queue is shorter. My favorite was the Baked Honey Glazed Christmas Ham (live station queue was rather slow but it was yummy)!

Dessert choices were rather limited but as usual, their chocolate cakes are 😋😋😋. There are fruits with chocolate tap drizzles which are like a hit with the kids 😋😋

Overall I'd say it's pretty worth the price! Service was great too! Only down side is that the buffet doesn't include drinks.. would have been great if coffee/tea were included also.. it would have gone well with the chocolate desserts.

Had the dinner set (it only is for a starter and a main; top up marginally for a drink but there is no top up for dessert).

I would recommend the Pear & Camembert salad as the starter and the prawn & crabmeat agio olio as the main. My friend had the pan roasted chicken for the main and it was not filling as there was no carb that came with it and only very little veggies. In general, the portions were just enough, so if you are a big eater, their portions may be too little.

We had the choc lava pie with an add on of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Recommend sharing this, as it was very rich and sweet. I loved that it came with a side of vanilla cream.

Service was great (they topped up our water bottle proactively) though they are clearly understaffed in terms of staff taking orders.

On 30 Nov, I had the pleasure of visiting Awfully Chocolate for dinner.

Me and my husband were welcome by the aroma of chocolate as we enter the cafe.

We ordered the set menu. To my surprise, the food was delicious and top notch for a pastry restaurant. The ribeye steak was cooked to our request. You can taste the sweetness of the meat, the simple seasoning of salt & pepper and the char-ness of the grilled.

We ordered 2 cakes and hot chocolate for dessert. Omg... the cakes were so good. Highly recommend the Chocolate Praline Cake & Lava Cake.

After so many years, the cake remains its standard. Love them all.
