Its a well placed location near the food court with lots of options for any festivity.
We ordered a sugar cookies for 6$ that wasnt impressive but hey, it is what it is. The lady was really nice and got us the best one of the bunch but it was just a sugar cookie nothing out of the ordinary.

Turnpike Turkey Lake Tragedy! Had I known this was going to be this disappointing I would have gotten a picture of the machine as well, so I grabbed this one offline. Having not had the cake before and recently had a conversation about a rainbow cake I saw the machine pictured at the Turkey Lake Plaza on the turnpike in Florida. This Plaza would be the first one you would hit going south on the turnpike as you come into Orlando the last one you hit going north on the turnpike as you leave Orlando. I decided to grab a piece of it as well as the chocolate fudge. Four of us tried and concurred that it was not moist not the freshest tasting cake in the world. I find it ironic that in today's world of traceability there is no expiration date on here there is no Julian code to know when it was made how do we know that the person managing machine is doing a proper job of FIFO on the cake that is in the machine? It's inevitable that the machine is the machine but someone has to load it. I am not sure if this is just the cake in general or if this is a dated piece again had there been an expiration date, a Julian code to trace when it was made then we could all figure this out but I didn't see anything at all and looked with a fine tooth comb. Anyways with all the Pomp and Circumstance about Carlo's Bakery and the products it produces this was lackluster to say the least. Having something on the packaging to be able to know when it was made and it is within the window of eating where it's it's best experience would be helpful. There can always be a degree of infallibility and if somehow something did not get rotated correctly and this piece was a result of that or is this in general how the cake is? We would be able to figure that out but right now all I can go on is this is how the cake is dry and not a lot of flavor.

This time I had a great experience! Hannah was extremely helpful & had my order ready & waiting. I was 30 minutes EARLY, but my birthday cake was perfectly inscribed (with a nickname no less!) AND boxed up beautifully
I compared this location to the one I grew up with in Hoboken, but, there's only ONE original...ANYTHING! Great flagship store, cake was delicious.

Fuimos con mucha ilusión de probar los famosos Canolis y colas de langosta! El lugar es muy bonito y por supuesto huele delicioso! Muy limpio y la atención fue buena! Sien embargo tenía tantas espectativas que realmente creo que eran demasiadas altas o es que posee mucha popularidad pero no fue como lo esperaba! La cola de langosta si estaba deliciosa y muy crujiente pero el Canoli lo esperaba mejor! Probamos otro postre que no estaba mal pero tampoco fue de esos que podrías nunca más olvidar! Había muchísima variedad de dulces y postres y todo se veía increíble pero en especial de lo que probamos solo recomendaría la cola de langosta.

This review is regarding the cake slices sold at the retail level. This is in no way mal-intended. I love the cakes I have tried many and so has my daughter. My fav was the carrot cake however the last 3 to 4 cake slice I purchased were so dry and hard I couldn’t understand what could possible was wrong. I felt in love with the first pieces. As mention above I have tried many of their retail product. But the quality of the most recent ones have made me hesitant to even buy them again.

Well much like everyone I too have watched this show and felt the urge to try it. Not great but terrible. It's in a mall so it has the mall vibe which is fine but it wasn't overwhelming either. Got three canolis birthday cake, chocolate peanut butter, and classic. It was good but the filling was the consistency of cheesecake so be mindful when you eat them, you'll fill up fast!
