This is my first time here. The interior is very picturesque, instagram-ready, etc.! The cake/cupcake display is so beautiful.

They also had cakes displayed around the counter showing the exquisite decorations also to show that they take cake orders. I couldn't figure out which flavor to choose, and ended up with toffee caramel cupcake. I wish I had looked at the other flavors so I would've selected pistachio and lavender! The cupcake was okay, didn't taste very fresh and the frosting was a little hard. The cakes were definitely very pricey, so I was hesitant to get one before trying a cupcake. They had a good selection of drinks, so I chose a plain latte. They don't carry decaf espresso/coffee.

They are on the same block/building as Altitude, so there is a parking garage around the corner, as well as some parking in the front of the storefronts.

Would I return? Sure, if I'm in the area.

We have been long time fans of Dana’s Cake Shoppe and love stopping to get a cupcake or a slice of cake, so when it came time to figure out cake for our wedding, coming here was a no brainer. I am very picky on desserts, especially icing, and everything here is consistently SO GOOD - and our guests agreed! We ordered 14 dozen cupcakes, 7 different flavors, and a cutting cake for our wedding of about 100 people. We had cupcake boxes so guests could also take one home with them for later and we had just the right number. The ordering/coordination process was easy and for a tasting, we just went in and bought a bunch of things out of the case and ate them all! I highly recommend Dana’s for your next special event, or your random Tuesday afternoon!

Dana created an exquisite cake for our son's birthday. It was exactly what I had envisioned and it was a show piece at the party. Everyone was impressed by it. Not only was it beautiful, it was absolutely delicious. My toddler agrees! The entire ordering process went so smoothly and Dana was very communicative. We also really loved her cupcakes and macarons. I know I'll be going back to Dana to any future cakes!

Dana's cake shoppe did our wedding cake last September and they were wonderful to work with. They truly brought our vision for our simple white cake to life with the texture of the buttercream and added florals. From the tasting of all the cake flavors and fillings, to the set up of our beautiful cake, everything was wonderful! First time visiting here. Came into town for the Fall Festival with my children. Before heading home, we decided to check this place out.

Once we approached the counter there were a few people behind the counter. When next in line the one girl wearing a hijab greeted and asked how she could help. I asked to buy four cupcakes. At that time before placing my order of which cupcakes I wanted, a different girl came to take over. Didn’t have any hair net, cap or anything to make sure that hair would not fall onto the cupcakes since it’s not single wrapped. But put gloves on. Literally, why do one when you’re not making sure to do all!

Placing my order, I asked for the Vanilla and Strawberry at first out of the four. As I’m placing my order, she happens to be looking back at the group of people behind the counter. She gave me a look and stated “You want Lemon and Strawberry?!” Where do you get Lemon from Vanilla?! Clearly she does not pay attention and admit to her mistakes of unprofessionalism. Not only did she not greet when changed from taking over my order, she started wrong by almost giving me a wrong cupcake. Once all was placed, she didn’t place the box on the counter in front of me, she pushed my box over, like here. I felt like she needs to get a different job. If she doesn’t like to deal with customer service, then stay home. She is very unprofessional. It’s sad that she had left us in an unpleasant, unfriendly state for first comers to enjoy this owners business.

First impression means a lot to me. This place definitely made me feel unwelcome. The cupcakes… some were good and some were not in our favor. That’s just our tastebuds. Because of the service we got, I will NEVER recommend and NEVER come back. This is just my experience and only mines.
