I was a bit disappointed but think I just had bad luck. My friends rave about how this is the best bakery on the island. I tried the chocolate eclair and it tasted burnt on the pastry. It wasn't overcooked underneath so likely they just put the chocolate on top. The actual custard was actually amazing and some of the best I've had. All the staff were super nice and the place looks so cool on the inside with their display cases and the open kitchen so you can see them working in the back. I would come here to try something different but I can say I was really impressed by the custard.

This is the best bakery in town. Selected favorites: cinnamon roll, sour dough bread, junior loaf, peach turnover, but the fact of the matter is the quality and taste is outstanding with all the products. Added bonus, staff is friendly and knowledgable!

1st visit. Walking in, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. From the pastries to the mountains of bread everywhere. It was amazing.

First time at your establishment. Purchased an assortment of pastries, which included coffee cake type pastries of assortment flavor, cookies, etc. Personally I was very disappointed.
Dry and lacking in flavor . Spent 93 dollars.
Won't be returning. Not quite sure what all the hype is about.

Everybody is looking for the best place to purchase bakery goods. Try the Chocolate Crufin. It's absolutely insane how good they taste. The Sourdough Bread is phenomenal. We drive from Manorville to shop there. It's a 45 minute drive on the best traffic day. It's Worth it for sure. My wife is a Ninja at baking. She LOVES DIBC! This is the place, trust me.

i loved this bakery so much before they moved i would’ve given it a hundred stars. but since everyone found out how amazing they were, they’ve moved, expanded business hours, and gotten much bigger. unfortunately the quality of the baked goods have slightly gone down. it makes me really sad because it was the only different & truly amazing bakery on long island. however it is still worth it, make sure you get there early in the morning. definitely pick up a loaf of sourdough, a cinnamon bun, a canelé, & a kougin amann. pictured are the cinnamon bun & canelé.

Place was buzzing at 8:10 am on a Sunday. They have a bunch of amazing looking bread and pastries.

I got the cinnamon bun, brownie and chocolate chip scone. All three were great but the cinnamon bun is the best cinnamon bun I've ever had. All three items were $15 total

I've been a big fan of this bakery for years when they were at a different location before the huntington one opened. They do have terrific pastries and breads-but their prices are over the top expensive. $6 for a plain coissant-really? They obviously keep raising them beyond most bakeries that are also great. Won't be coming any longer. Unaffordable.
