Honestly, I’ve stopped trying to find a Houston bakery that’s better than Magnol. I just end up comparing them all to Magnol and none of them come close overall.

The croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery. I haven’t found a bakery in Houston that even comes close to these croissants. The bread is fantastic. We always get the baguette and pave au levain. We used to get la miche before the pandemic but now it’s preorder only. And then of course the pastries are delicious.

The only down side is that occasionally they’ll do really delicious specials like a raspberry pistachio croissant or a mango passion fruit cheesecake. And then I’ll never see it again! There’s quite a few pastries that I’m still waiting for them make again!

One of the best patisserie and French bakery in Houston! Everything is fresh! 100% a must try!!! The Eclair, Mille-feuille and the opera cake were out of this world…. It is very difficult to find this gems in Houston! A lot of people in line, so keep that in mind when you come!

Incredible bakery!!! The location is not ideal for me, but it is worth the drive. All the pastries, bread, etc… are remarkable. When I arrived the line was significant, but moved fast. I took my pastries to go, but it looks like a fun place to sit down for a coffee and a chocolate crescent. Enjoy!!

Excellent French treats/patisserie and very nice patio! Americano coffee was decent, a little on the burned side. But mostly went for the food anyway! Also, a French friend says these are the best croissant she’s had in the US!

This is the place to go for amazing pastries and bread. They also make coffee but I haven’t tried it. They also have a small market where you can buy things like French preserves ( aka jam), butter, etc.
pastries change from day to day but generally speaking the selection is similar. I’ve tried most of them. Key recommendations
1. Chocolate almond croissant
2. Flan cake
3. Mille Feulle
4. Lemon tart
5. Eclair
6. Paris breast cake

Also their bread is delicious

Ample parking.

Lots of stuff sells out by the end of the day so come early.

Late for breakfast, but found the cream cheese and croissants very good. Tasty coffee and nice atmosphere here. Will try to come early for the ham and cheese croissants!

Magnol is an incredibly standout French bakery nestled in houston- there aren’t any other shops in this parking lot but it’s usually packed and filled with patrons. The quality of the food is amazing, off the charts delicious, and authentic. Baked to perfection. The bread is superb as well, especially if you’re a carb enthusiast like me. Butters and cream cheese are imported from France, as well as well as confiture and candies on the wall!
Some highlights for my family from the case: the baba (w citrus liqueur) and soft whipped cream was delicious and airy, melts in your mouth! The eclairs here are to die for, my favorite is the coffee. London fog (I add espresso to mine) but tea is also from republique de the, a famous French brand as well. Quality and taste are outstanding and worth the drive! Chef Otto and team are gifted and talented, so glad to have found Magnol!

I have been waiting a few years to come here as I’m from San Antonio. This is a master baker the bread and sweets are next level. I loved the fresh peach danish, the croissant and baguette.
