Good sourdough and pasta! The sourdough was really fluffy and airy yet full of flavour. The pasta is cooked to still chewy and nice. Sauce of the pasta is also good! They have 60 mins dining time, which is enough but you can't sit and talk slowly. Definitely worth coming back for more.

Excited to try their bakes as I've been following them since their Marymount days.

The grilled cheese is delicious, cheesy with welcome layers of flavour from the pickles. Very good base bread, the taste still stands out amongst other strong ingredients. However, it is pretty pricey given its small size (half a sourdough bread slice).

They have other unique items on the menu, will try them next time.

super friendly staff and beautiful interior! came here for a little snack since i was in the area and i was pleasantly surprised! i ordered their shepards pie because they told me it was one of their signature dishes and was quite popular! even though the portion sizes are a bit small for the price, the flavors and textures were all on point, and it was very yummy. this place is also nice for dates as it is pretty quiet, and has nice seating. they also sell loaves of bread but since i live on my own i couldn’t buy a loaf to try.

This bakery cafe came up in my search for quality sourdough, and I made a special trip down on a Saturday afternoon.

Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff were cheerful and attentive. They offered several varieties of sourdough, and as it was my first visit, I opted for the house loaf ($14.50).

The service was impeccable. When I requested to have the bread sliced, the staff enquired whether I would be consuming it that day. Upon learning that I intended to freeze it for later consumption, they thoughtfully cling-wrapped it for me.

I enjoyed a slice of the sourdough that same day. It was aromatic, chewy, and possessed the perfect tanginess. I will definitely be returning to try other sourdough in the menu.

UNIQUE BAKES, SUPERB QUALITY

Have been hearing one of my friend raving about Marymount bake house and decided to try it! It is quite a distance from the nearest mrt station, but no regrets walking under the sun for this!

The staff were very friendly and helpful with their recommendations and explanation of each bake!

There’s a lot of flavour burst and different textures with each bite of the bakes. You can definitely taste that they used quality ingredients and every ingredient really complemented well with one another!

Highly recommend the shepherds pie!

(And don’t be fooled by the size of the bakes, it’s actually very filling!)

I’m all for sourdough stuff and this bakery/cafe is one that has been on my list for long!

I was pleasantly surprised at how big the portion size is! Both items that I got were really really good — each component and the combi of flavours were totally up my alley. My only qualm was that I couldn’t really taste the tanginess from the sourdough.

The other items on their menu seem interesting too so I definitely need to plan my next visit😂

Nice sourdough place! Good range of items made of sourdough. Staff were really friendly and sincere. They really try their best even though they seemed really overwhelmed/stressed.

Definitely have room for improvement in terms of managing seating arrangement and queue, and food could be further refined for the price.

Love their drunken chicken pie though I personally found the crust alittle too thick but still very cripsy nonetheless.

Sourdough pumpkin gnocchi was interesting, just wished the gnocchi has a cripsy texture and the bacon to be crushed to smaller bits and sprinkled over the dish. Personally found the portion small for the price.

Sourdough platter was not bad. Love the bread, but the spread/sauce/butter could be further refined in terms of taste and presentation, then it'll be perfect!

I think this place has great potential once they optimise the seat and queue management as well their food to match the pricepoint.

Impeccable service - very efficient and friendly staff. Genuinely good customer service. Nice venue and atmosphere. The food is great too, albeit slightly overpriced in our opinion. The beef ragu pasta was delicious, and so was the shepherd's pie and the shakshuka.
