I really enjoyed the oolong cake; it has a wonderful fragrance. However, the pistachio tart didn't feel like enough, and the cake base didn't stick to the biscuit base, overall is good. The croissant didn't make it to my top 3 list in Singapore. The packaging was good quality.

We went around 4pm on a Saturday and there weren't many things left. We had a pistachio tart and felt like it lacked pistachio flavor. For the price I expected more. The vibe and decor at the place are nice, same as the staff.

We ordered the Lemon Meringue Tart and it’s probably by far, one of the best I’ve had. A right blend of lemony taste with the crusty base.

Tl:dr came to this tiny little place at river valley. Overall pleasant experience. Cute cakes. Great staff. Seatings are limited though.

👍🏻the desserts are flavorful. Apple of my eye i was worried it would be alot of mousse, but its not. The layer of sponge and mousse and apple bits is amazing. The pistachio cake is another one i like. Abit too much of the icing/cream but the crushed pistachios gives it flavor and texture. The lemon tart lives up to its name. The tart is good too. Its the 3rd best tart i’ve eaten.

👍🏻i came at around 9, and cakes normally are served around 10. The staff were kind enough to help me with my orders so i do not need to wait till 10 to order the cakes
🫳🏻the order of how the dishes came were messed up. Normally drinks would come first, followed by desserts.
🫳🏻as seen in photos, the utensils were served together with the cakes. Though its more convenient for the waitress, it is better for utensils to be separated from the serving plate. Or, 1 dessert on 1 plate with 1 utensil.

Atmosphere
👍🏻overall a nice tiny cosy place
👍🏻 didnt have issue with our conversations
🫳🏻there are only 2 tables for dine in, and the rest are for takeaway

My husband and I enjoy Clé a lot for their breakfast set $9. They have really great coffee with no plus plus! Staff are friendly. The pastries are tasty! Great spot in River Valley. Would recommend.

I have bought their cakes and tarts before when they were located at Paya Lebar. I do like some of their cakes and pastries. I have been wanting to try their Christmas gift box too but didn't have a chance. Finally managed to order it this year and did self collection at their store in River Valley.

Decided to have a small tart while waiting. Quite nice. Taste is light. Not very sweet. A nice sweet end to my lunch.

The Christmas gift box was also very good. 9 different flavours of tarts and cake. All taste very good. Again not very sweet.

If they do a Chinese New Year gift box. I will order from them again!

I’d actually noticed this shop before but never thought to go in. After my friend’s glowing review, I finally gave it a shot. It’s a French-style bakery that offers a selection of pastries, bread, and cakes. Today, I opted for their Breakfast Sandwich, which uses their signature croissants—super tasty! The bread was spot on. I also couldn't resist the beautiful pistachio cake. After one bite, I was sold—it’s fantastic! I’m already planning to pick up some pastries from here the next time I’m invited to a friend’s house.

For reference, this place is right by Boon Tong Kee’s River Valley branch. So if you're craving chicken rice, make sure to stop by for a coffee and dessert afterward!
