The new location looks like a dump. I had to drive there to try to make appointment, because no one answers phone. 4 times calling and I've been left on hold listening to music. No one picks up phone. Office was closed no information posted. Only signage is a piece of paper with his name written on it. Awful!!

My dad is the patient. We have seen this Dr. Once in his office. He ordered a few tests and set up a follow up appointment. My dad was scheduled for a sleep study this past Saturday night. He woke up Saturday morning with some sort of stomach virus. It was not pretty. Obviously doing the sleep study was out of the question for that night. Every phone number I had for them didn't work. There is no voice-mail where I could leave a message or answering service. I called this morning (Monday) and can not get anyone on the phone. It keeps me on hold forever.

I was referred to this office by my primary care physician. If I had checked reviews first, I wouldn't have wasted hours of time and $40 on my co-pay! I have been suffering with sleep apnea for years because I had no insurance. He set up a sleep test for me and told me it's necessary. My insurance company sent me a denial of coverage, UNLESS the Dr. Would call them for a 5 minute peer to peer conversation about my case. I called the office the same day I got that notice(2 weeks ago) and heard nothing from anyone. I just called the office back and the receptionist said she would have the Dr contact me. I won't hold my breath ! He's getting paid for about 3 minutes of talking to me. Terrible service from a Dr that obviously doesn't care about his patients!

Please do not visit this doctor if you expect to receive good care. My father has been seeing Dr. Rahim for his COPD for years now and has only been getting worse with multiple stays in the hospital over the past 6 months. The doctor barely spends a few minutes with him at every visit and would not look into a simple procedure for my father that would significantly improve his quality of life. His office staff never, ever pick up the phone and will not get back to my dad if he left a voicemail. His lack of care for his patients is very evident in his terrible bedside manner and nonchalant attitude at every visit. Please don’t send your loved ones to this place if you want them to live a good quality of life or be helped in any way.

The office staff has been very nice in person, and that is the only good thing I have to say about this office.

I’ve never left a negative review for any establishment until now. This doctor is one of the worst I’ve ever come across. He has zero bedside manner. My grandma is a patient of his and both times we saw him, he rushed her out of there and barely answered any questions. We drove an hour to his office and spent a total of 3 minutes actually seeing him. The second time around, I didn’t want us to be pushed out so quickly again, so I began to ask questions about my grandmothers diagnosis and he rushed us again. He went as far as to walk to the door and open it while we were still speaking.

In addition, she was supposed to receive 2 breathing machines a month ago, and we were ensured that she would receive them in a week. I’ve been calling their office for the last 3 weeks and have only been able to speak with people in their call center. I’m told that I’ll get a call back, and I never do. The negligence is crazy. This place would have zero stars if possible. Absolutely awful.

Dr. Perwaiz. Zero stars. Can you do minus stars? No eye contact. Distant. Abrupt. Communication absent. Always acts preoccupied. Phone "visits" (during Covid era) lasted 63 seconds, 90 seconds, and 2 minutes, once the doc got on the phone.

I've never changed doctors before in my whole life (I'm 67) but this was a no-brainer. The staff seemed just fine. No issues with them. But this doc is a joke, in my experience and opinion.

Good news guys, copd an asthma can completely go away, after 20 years of having it ? i was diagnosed with copd an asthma by 2 different drs an the lakeland hospital an winter haven hospital, by ct scan an pft testing, went to see dr rahim, he was in the room for about 10 seconds, said no copd or asthma , i said oh, can it just totally go away like that, he said sure, i said because i had pft testing an numerous ct scans, an been diagnosed for 20+ years, an u say its magically gone now? He said yeah, but keep taking the meds for it, now why i need meds if its gone? Called my old lung dr in lakeland, an she assured me, it hasn’t went away, they shouldn’t tell people that, because my first thought was, i can go back to smoking now, since it magically goes away, on hold now with their office to cancel my next app, i mean why do i need to go back, since it magically went away ?‍♀️ wish it could, but sadly it doesn’t, see he didn’t know, i had already had pft testing several times before, its not good to give people false hope, nor was the office interested in sending for my past pft results

I'm a medical professional, and for Dr. Perwaiz Rahim's sake, I was not there alongside my mother when she was seen today with him at 3:00 p.m. However, my brother was there as her witness, and from what I heard, It was far from pleasant. This doctor apparently yelled at my mother and treated her like garbage.

My mother had a new CT scan, and she had concerns because there were new findings on her report that stated that she has some calcifications in her lungs. She was genuinely concerned and wanted to know what this was or what it could mean.

My mother was also questioning if the CT scan was indeed hers because there was a tube-like structure. She thought it was odd because she has never had surgery done to her where they would have inserted a tube inside of her. She basically wanted clarification that this CT scan was hers and not another patient's CT scan because that DOES HAPPEN in the medical field. I've seen it myself.

This doctor apparently got very insulting and started yelling at my mother. He asked her where she was from. My mother is from Puerto Rico and speaks limited English, so not at an advanced level. This doctor, who apparently is from Pakistan (not even an American himself), started telling her that her place of origin has many viruses and/or diseases and that what the CT shows could be a possible past infection. Regardless of whether what he says is true or not, her place of origin has nothing to do with that. Viruses and/or diseases are everywhere, not just in Puerto Rico.

I could care less what type of medical degree this guy has, doctor or not; his comment was out of line, and I feel like this needs to be addressed by someone higher up.

How can this man practice with such horrible bedside manners? This is likely a cultural thing, considering where he is from and how they treat women over there, but my mother does NOT deserve that kind of TREATMENT. Not just my mother, no one's mother!! Especially not in a place like America, that type of behavior should not be condoned here.

My mom left that office with a big lump in her throat. She felt humiliated when all she wanted was answers and some guidance in the right direction. She left the office wanting to cry. I was heartbroken to hear that my mother went through that.

One of the medical assistants there was very kind to her and compassionate. So for that I am grateful to whomever that was.

Anyway, can someone higher up from this office PLEASE do something about him? THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!
