We chose Sugar Fixe for our wedding cake, and I could not recommend them enough. Corrie was so friendly and passionate. She absolutely brought our vision to life and the cake looked even better than our inspiration photos. We provided our own cake stand and topper and the process was easy and seamless.

We only had a few bites of the cake but all of our guests raved about how delicious it was. Could not recommend Sugar Fixe enough for your wedding cake needs!

Stopped by to pick up chocolate croissants and regular coffee to go. The people behind the counter were very nice and offered good conversation while I waited for my coffee. The croissant was DELICIOUS buttery and flaky and seemed very fresh. The coffee was strong and also fresh. Totally recommend!

The take home tasting process was so easy and we enjoyed being able to do it all at home. The cake was delivered the day of the wedding without issue with the cake stand and topper of our choosing. It was super delicious and our families loved it. Highly recommend for wedding cakes and to stop in for a quick treat!

I’ve lived and walked around River Forest and Oak Park my whole life and used to go here as a kid… it’s changed. I ordered and couldn’t see what I ordered on the screen because she didn’t turn it around and didn’t offer me my receipt. I bought a six dollar small mocha for there and got a latte instead. They offered to fix it, which was nice. Didn’t really try their pastries and desserts so I can’t comment too much on that. Cleaning equipment everywhere and wrinkles in the napkins… it feels like a worn-out-confused-sterile-white-walled attempt at a coquette aesthetic bakery/cafe. Not super cute for the family, friend meet-up, or a date. Very sad to see how downhill it has gotten.

If you are having a wedding in the city, make this your cake/dessert vendor. They have tons of flavors and options at very reasonable prices. Corrie is so easy and pleasant to work with, very helpful at providing a customized experience within budget. Every one I interacted with at the shop was polite, kind, and helpful. We had a cake and a variety of mini desserts (cupcakes, brownies, fruit tarts, etc). Everything was delivered on time on the day of the wedding without any issues.

Everything, especially the wedding cake, was gorgeous and delicious. The mini coconut cake cupcakes with mango frosting was a guest favorite. Corrie and her team were even able to create and fulfill an off menu request for matcha flavored mini cupakes.

They did an outstanding job and gave us an amazing dessert spread well within budget.

We had Sugar Fixe create our wedding cake and it was absolutely amazing and tasted just as good! Corrie was awesome with helping us through the tasting and figuring out what we wanted. We did a two-tier with different cake and flavors on each as well as sheet cake to serve. Guests loved both cakes and I am so excited that we were able to save some for ourselves as well! Definitely coming back if we need anymore cakes!
