小さいけど魅力が凝縮されてるカフェ。最近は滅多に食べないケーキですが、珍しく食べる気になったのもこの空間のせいかも。アイスコーヒーは気持ちもう少し濃いのが好きだけど、それでも美味しかった。先週末来たらほぼ満席だったので平日のランチの時間に訪れました。😊

I have been here twice because I admire the artistic direction, effort and sincerity behind this self-run shop. The owners radiate warmth. I love the spatial design: patchwork of specialty coffee bean labels on the pillar, hanging dried leaves, warm light, artwork by the owners. The individual wooden tables and chairs are charming as well and my biggest weakness is the engraved round table outside. That's my favourite table and I spent a nice hour sketching.

The variety and novelty of the bakes offered are surprising. The first time I tried hojicha longan and was dissatisfied because I found the sponge cake too dry and lacking the aroma of hojicha. The second time around, I tried chocolate banana lime and it was good. The chocolate sponge is moist and dense and together with the bananas they were a surprising combination with the lime buttercream. It seems like their bakes have a consistently thin layer of cream. I think the balance is quite delicate but perhaps some bakes can benefit from more cream. The piccolo with their seasonal Ethiopia beans was AMAZING with a unique fragrance.

I will be back to try their black sesame bakes.

found the cafe on lemon8 and also instagram awhile back, but didnt have the time to come down to try their bakes and coffee, but today i finally came down and it didn't disappoint!

my friend got the banana miso and osmanthus sencha while i got the lemon pound cake and iced matcha. the flavours of the banana miso really complemented each other and i was surprised that their cakes were served to us warm❤️the lemon pound cake wasnt too sweet and i absolutely loved the lemon curd/sauce on top! it wasnt too sour and was really refreshing :)) the iced matcha was really thick, which is something i always look out for in matcha lattes. overall, the bakes and drinks gave me a homemade feeling

the service was also top-notch even though it's only operated by 2 humans, love the ambience as well, it felt really cosy

Finally ticked off another cafe on my list! Arrived at the cafe around late morning and there was nobody. Felt a little awkward since there was nobody but the couple was very lovely and friendly!!

They have a few selection of bakes and all of them looked super appealing but I only have 1 stomach :”

Paused for a few seconds to think but when I saw the Black Sesame one, I knew I had to get that. The cake was truly enjoyable! Though I wished the sponge cake would be slightly more moist, the BSSM spread and butter cream made up for it. I liked how there were added black sesame inside which gave the cake an added crunch. The coffee crumbles were also super aromatic when paired with the cake.

I will definitely drop by again when I’m free to try out their other bakes!! Thank you to the lovely couple for the friendly service 🙂

Great coffee and cakes served here.
Tried the earl grey sponge cake. It’s surprisingly good. The thick cream on top is not heavy, it goes super well with the earl grey sponge cake below. The taste of earl grey is strong and authentic. The cream melts smoothly in the mouth too.
The coffee is great too, even though it’s just a simple black, but it’s not too heavy, not intense.
Love their plate, it’s so delicate.
The whole interior design is very comfy and a little recycled fabric decorations on the wall.
Lady boss is very friendly and gave very good services.

I find myself craving for the delicious cakes and I have since visited three times. It is a cosy space with limited indoor and outdoor seating. The flavours of the cakes are not always the same, but they are always delightful! 🙂

Been visiting them twice already to get their yummy bakes & coffee to go. Left me wanting to try more everytime because I think some of their cakes flavour changed daily. Limited space for dining in, you may choose to take away instead. Very hardworking couple. I love supporting sincere owner like this. 👫♥️
